Can I use it at a standing desk?

Yes. The two-line SlackBoard Plus is a great fit for a standing desk, with a wider, more stable platform for balancing while you work.

Can I use my HSA or FSA?

Yes! Through our partner Truemed, qualified customers can pay with HSA or FSA funds at checkout.

How big is the SlackBoard, and how much does it weigh?

The SlackBoard is compact and easy to move or store. Dimensions: 42" L x 11" W x 5.5" H Weight: 7.5 lb (3.4 kg)

How long should I use it each day?

Even a few minutes a day makes a difference. In an 8-week UCLA study, people who added 15–20 minutes of SlackBoard training three times a week improved their balance more than people who trained with other balance trainers. Read the study.

Is it right for me if I’m older, a beginner, or recovering from an injury?

Absolutely. SlackBoards are made for all ages and ability levels, from kids and first-timers to seniors, and they're used in physical therapy and rehab settings. Want a little more stability? The two-line SlackBoard Plus gives you extra support, and you can add a SlackBoard Pole for a steady point of contact while you build balance and confidence.

Is the SlackBoard good for beginners?

Absolutely! The SlackBoard sits low to the ground, so if you lose your balance, you just step off and try again.

Is the SlackBoard safe?

Yes. The low-profile design keeps you close to the ground, so if you lose your balance, you can simply step off. The line creates a gentle bouncing effect that’s easy on your joints.

Yes. The free GIBBON app includes 100+ training videos with programs for kids, adults, and seniors. It’s available on iOS and Android, with no subscription required.

Is there any setup required?

Nope! Your SlackBoard arrives fully assembled, with the line already installed and tensioned. Just unbox it and step on. Every board includes a tensioning dowel and instructions to re-tension anytime. The SlackBoard Plus and Pro also include everything you need to switch between one- and two-line setups.

Should I get the single-line SlackBoard or the two-line SlackBoard Plus?

The single-line SlackBoard is a great choice if balance training is your main goal. Even a few minutes a day challenges your balance while working your lower body and core. Want more stability and versatility? The SlackBoard Plus comes with two lines for a wider, more stable platform. Most first-timers find it easier to get started on, and it’s great for workouts, squats, standing desks, kids, and older adults. You can also easily switch to a single line when you’re ready for more of a challenge. It’s like getting two boards in one.

What is your returns policy?

We’re confident you’ll love your SlackBoard. If it’s not the right fit, you can return it within 30 days for a full refund, minus return shipping costs. Shopping for the holidays? We’ve extended our return window, so purchases made between October 15 and December 31, 2026 can be returned through January 31, 2027.

What is your warranty policy?

GIBBON products have a 2-year warranty covering manufacturing defects and failure caused by normal use. Imperfect and Blemished products are excluded; see their product page for the applicable terms.

What comes in the box?

Your SlackBoard arrives assembled with one SlackLine, a tension dowel, and an instruction manual. It is a single-line board; a second line cannot be added. Stand sold separately.

What’s the weight limit?

For the best performance, we recommend 400 lb (181 kg) or less. Heavier users may find the line loses tension a little faster, which is normal and easy to fix by re-tensioning.

Who is the single-line SlackBoard for?

It's a great choice if balance training is your main goal. Even a few minutes a day challenges your balance while working your lower body and core.
